About Eric Hamburg

Eric Hamburg was born in New York City and raised in the Monterey Bay area of California's central coast. Eric' s began photography at age 13 with his father's Nikkormat. He shot his first magazine cover for Mustang Auto News when he was only 16. He graduated from Art Center College of Design. During his career he's photographed everything from cat food to cars, Professions from pharmacists to physicist's, real estate agents to rocket scientists. Eric's love of art history has given him direction and allowed him to pursue his humor. His father was a cartoonist and comedy director but also great encourager of Eric's off-handed captions. Eric's new love is landscape photography and his upbringing in the central coast has drew him back to seascapes.
